Boston Integrative Psychotherapy, LLC provide out-of-network services ONLY.

INSURANCE IS NOT BILLED DIRECTLY FOR ANY TREATMENT

All sessions must be paid in full on the day of service. A card must be kept on file, and it is charged before the start of the appointment (Auto-payments are arranged as part of the required registration process for individual treatment). Sessions that are attended, and all missed appointments and sessions cancelled with less than 24-hours’ notice, must be paid for in full at the time of the scheduled appointment. Payments are made by credit or HSA/FSA card.

Clients are responsible to check with their own insurance for out-of-network benefits using the National Provider Identification (NPI) number, license level (masters), fees, and billing codes to help when talking to a carrier about possible reimbursements.

Clients who intend to seek insurance reimbursement for a portion of their out-of-pocket costs for treatment are responsible to verify that their insurance carrier will reimburse for out-of-network telehealth services before incurring any costs.

If you have out-of-network benefits (usually a PPO plan), your insurance company will likely reimburse you for a portion of the cost of each session. In this case, I do provide a detailed receipt (also known as a “Superbill”).

Active clients receive monthly Superbill of services they received and payments they made. Clients are responsible for submitting superbills to their insurance for reimbursement.

Sliding Scale

Unfortunately, I am unable to offer a sliding scale at this time. If you want to pursue this option, I recommend checking out Open Path , online therapy, or visiting your local community health center’s behavioral health department. They typically accept all insurances and sometimes have grants for individuals without insurance.
